Finally food from Land of Enchantment NM
Zia is a small cozy cafe that has excellent service and a flair for NM style. It's different from Mexican food, due to its chile and other influences from the NMPueblo Indians. I highly recommend the carne adovada or an enchilada topped with an egg. The sopaipillas eaten with honey are TO DIE FOR!!! I'm so ecxited that I can eat food from my home state again.

Honey On Tables???
Having been in the restaurant business for over 50 years, Zia's owners know how to consistently prepare authentic New Mexican food from scratch. It's not like Mexican food. Its entrees are smothered in chile from Hatch, New Mexico. Finally there's a place like home that serves enchiladas with an egg and also serves delicious sopaipillas that you can drizzle honey on. The margaritas are hand- shaken using real limes, not the sweet and sour mix. It's warmly decorated with incredible art from Taos.
