Great Food, Service, and Delivery
I can honestly say that I have tried almost every Chinese restaurant in Chicago and this is by far the best. I have had great service every time I have went inside. Delivery is sent in a very reasonable time. The food speaks for itself. I have tried many different items on the menu and still have no complaints. There was however one time when my food was a little overcooked but not really a big deal. I would definitely recommend Yu Shan to anyone who likes this type of food.

fabulous egg rolls!!!
fabulous egg rolls! fresh food. nice people. good mu shuo (order extra pancakes & plum sauce), good lemon chicken, good spicey food, I like their crab rangoon &steamed dumplings, order for pick-up or delivery==>eating in the restaurant's not very fun.

Don't waste even a dime at this place
I ordered the orange beef and the instant I saw what was delivered I would have rather gone hungry for the night. They should have called the orange beef, crispy fried chunks; that way I would know what I was getting myself into. It was very unappetizing and lacked anything resembling good taste, and unfortunately has steered me away from ever trying this place again. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something, but next time I’ll have to stick to a place I know.

great river north lunchtime chinese
if you want great, reasonably priced chinese food for lunch in the river north area, you've got to try yu shan. they don't use msg, which is great, their delivery is super speedy and their food is always fresh and tasty--no stange bits of chinese chicken here! i would suggest, however, that you opt for delivery and not actually go into the restaurant. it's small, loud and more than a bit dingy. unless you like that kind of thing... overall, a great spot for a quick lunch bite.

Not bad for delivery
I have only ordered delivery from this place, but it is right down the street. I think there's only one table inside anyway. The fried rice is just okay, ditto for the potstickers. The mu shu pork and the kung pao chicken are both pretty good. I haven't found a Chinese delivery place in Streeterville that I like better, but I am still kind of looking. This place is pricey for Chinese, if you ask me, and I find it annoying that they charge for delivery.
