Great tasting food
I've had vegan cuisine before at another restaurant, but not like this. It's been awhile since I've had any vegan cuisine, I am truly hooked now. Before it was okay but this is really, really good. I happened to be driving by and there it was, I went in and was given a couple of samples and walked out with a large order of the candied yams and broccoli and something that looked and tasted like meat but wasn’t. All I remember is that it was very good and I will be returning soon to try out the other items on the menu. I feel the items are reasonably priced and the customer service was very pleasant.

great candied yams
I decided to try Yahs today . Had the spagetti and candied yams. The yams were delicious and the spagetti was really good. I'm not a vegetarian but I couldn't tell the difference between the meat substitute and regular meat. Will definetly return.

Fantastic!
What a treat!! Loved Yah's. A friend and I traveled down from Hyde Park for Sunday lunch; we are very satisfied and impressed! I do not consider myself easily impressed and rarely have had the occasion to go online to write a good review. The staff were friendly and decor casual in this South Shore gem. Food with a lot of flavor. They make a lot in house: the seitan, "cheese" with organic soy flour and spices, and who knows what else! They seemed to limit (exclude completely?) their margarine usage and do not use a microwave! Don't fall in love with anything you see on the menu online, wait until you go in and find out what cookin' You can also check them out at the 61st Farmer's Market!! The only hang up was the wait, they apparently had a large turn out for brunch and seemed a bit behind getting the lunch food prepared. We did wait for quite some time but it was worth it! **FYI Close from now until January 3rd.

Good food, Great people!
This location is a great place to find good vegan cuisine and great people with positive attitudes! I have decided to become a regular for the food and the networking this spot provides. Much love to the owner and her staff!
