good food
This was our second visit here. The food was excellent the first time, no so great the second. The service could be a little better, not very friendly or attentive...the prices are very reasonable....we will give it another chance....Improve your service a little!!

Love this joint!
I used to come here with my parents in the 1960's and it was always my favorite. Had lunch here last year when we went thru Chicago and the food still rocks!

Must try!
Great food. Old if not the oldest restaurant in Chinatown. Do not order dishes randomly if you do not like surprises such as chicken feet and other exotic food.

great food, long flight of stairs
If you have trouble with stairs this is not the restaurant for you. If you like to climb then go on up! The decor is simple but very comfortable. The tables are spread out so you have room to stretch. Servers are friendly but do not appear at the table more times than absolutely necessary so if you need a drink refill you may have to send up a flare. The food is delicious and the presentation beautiful. We spent about $40.00 for a family of four before tip and shared 4 large entrees and an appetizer as well. Great value for very good food with okay service on the second floor!
