Let Down
After the Chicago auto show I took my wife, mom & mother in law out to dinner. Our first waiter seemed wonderful, but then another waiter took poor care of us, he seemed to be a little too occupied with other tables. Took a while to get a drink. But after he took photos at one of his tables for the guests we were then served a drink. The best service came from the bus boy serving bread and water to us. When we told the waiter that one meal only came with 2 tiny shrimp he was not to surprised by this. But did bring more to add to her meal 20 minutes later. I have eaten at several Wildfire Resturants but have never had such a poor experience like last night. I'am not sure i will go back to a Wildfire after this let down of a night out. This used to be one of my top dining spots but not anymore.

Great lil gem
Went to this spot for dinner and loved it! Great wait staff and very friendly. Even the manager stopped by to make sure our experience was great, after he found out this was our first visit to this spot. The steaks and chicken was well worth the price. Will go again next time in Chicago.

A great family restaurant
My family and I have been to the Wildfire at least five times. It's the perfect restaurant for an early sunday night dinner, and I've never met a person who doesn't love it.

Sunday Evening at Wildfire
I was looking for a good Valentine's Day weekend dinner spot and Wildfire delivered. I reserved a table on opentable and even though we arrived about 20 minutes early and were greeted by a wonderful wood smoke aroma, they seated us right away. There are 2 seating areas, and several private side rooms. I recommend the booth seating in the outer areas; the center area tables are a little crowded. We felt private in the booths but still had a view of the restauraunt. Encrusted steaks are their specialty, I ordered triple medallion filets to sample their 8 available crusts and my girlfriend ordered the blue cheese crusted filet. Included sides are simple, but you can upgrade to some tastier options such as white cheese au gratin potatoes, which were excellent. Service was very punctual, the waitstaff was quick and courteous, our food came very quickly, maybe almost too quick. We were in and out in under an hour and a half, including apps and desserts. Overall it was a wonderful experience with a very Chicago feel and a great date spot or somewhere to take family and friends.
