    Large Meats

Despite the hurried service and tourist-barn atmosphere, I really did have a good piece of beef at this restaurant. Not sure I care whether they cook it on an actual Weber grill, but they claim to. Waiter couldn't wait to turn our table, which was irritating, and my potatoes were cold, but you don't come here for the potatoes, you come for the steak, and after an appropriately rare full pound of beef, I staggered out satisfied.

Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn

Stayed at the Hilton right above Weber's, and it was raining so this was a convenient choice. Loud restaurant, and tight seating, and packed early in the evening. Food was good, not great, service was attentive, and quick. Will go again

    Rating the Burger

Its is one of the best burgers I've ever had. I am from NYC just moved to Chicago. My friends all say the same thing, go to Weber's for the burger, its amazing. I agree, the burger was juicey, big, cooked perfectly, and the meat tasted really fresh. I am only rating this place on their burger. I will definately go back for this reason.

    Pretty Good......

Thinking outside of the salmon box and deciding to try something new, I ordered the blackened catfish. Our waitress, Amanda, assured me that if I didn't like the catfish, there would be no problem in returning it for something else. Turns out that the catfish was not a good choice for me. The piece I had was somewhat mushy and tasteless. However, the sides of spinach and mashed sweet potatoes were devine. My boyfriend ordered the full slab of ribs with an upgrade of garlic shrimp and all I can say is I'm so glad he did! I ended up eating most of the shrimp and tried the ribs which were excellent. Very meaty and the sauce was very good. Since we had more than enough food, I didn't order anything else. And, we had no room for dessert, which was a shame, because they all looked heavenly sinful! All in all, The Weber Grill was a decent restaurant that didn't break the bank and the food was ample and tasty.

    Past & Present

When it first opened the food was great but I think the novelty has worn off. The burgers & beer can chicken are not good at all. The salads are great as well as the ribs and steaks. Stay away from the ribeye (too much fat). I think some of the items are overpriced and some of the food items on the line seem to be held there too long. However, I'm going again in hopes that I will come back with a better review.

I guess you could do worse...

You'd expect a place like Weber Grill to have good hamburgers. The meat patty was no better than just OK, and then it was placed on a soggy bun worse than the ones you get at McDonald's! The service was not completely awful (they didn't mess up the order), but we got our appetizers AFTER our meal already arrived.
