Heard some of the other boaters in Burnham talk about it in '07, wanted to see for myself. Great concept, but high hopes for this place were let down almost instantly. He's close, but doesn't really know what boater's want. No bar food, drink prices are high and there is only one head (good thing this place doesn't get packed). If it's going to be a boater bar, you best discount boaters, don't treat us like landlubbers! I'll visit again this summer, see if he's set a new course, until then I'll patron the Burnham and Columbia Yacht clubs. ~ Sailor Sam

This place really just doesn't know what the heck they are trying to be. Restaurant? Bar? Club? This place is a BAR, no matter what they are trying to make it. The food is waaaay over priced and totally random. I'm not gonna pay 30 bucks for a steak at a bar. And who wants the completely random appetizers that they offer. If I want nicer fare, I will go elsewhere. On a side note, I tried to order chicken strips off the kids menu, since it was the only "bar food" on the bar menu, but they wouldn't let me!! I'm sorry but that makes absolutely no sense. I even asked to speak with a manager, whom also flat out refused. I totally understand why this place is ALWAYS empty!

Delicious couldn’t believe I was eating in a tavern. But Weather Mark is not your everyday tavern. Beautiful décor, brick wood and granite. Really cool sails divide couches and tables for a more formal dinning is in back. The menu is out of this world and the presentation is even better. Not out of this world in price and they have brunch on the weekends with a bloody mary special – yum! I have been several times now and every time I’m impressed. The menu is really classy. They have a great website with coupons Free wireless internet for our patrons, kids stay till 10:30pm, Veggie friendly. 25 different rums. Nautical themed drinks follow the décor. Highly recommend this tavern for family, business and romantic evening out. Seems to have a party crowd after 10pm. . Located right in the heart of the "South Loop", three blocks south of Roosevelt. Convenient to the Museum Campus and Soldier Field, and on the route to Cellular Field, you won’t want to miss this tavern.
