Absolutely incredible!
Holy cannoli this place is incredible. From the second we walked in, this was one of the best lunch experiences I've ever had. We went there for a business lunch and we were the only ones there, which was surprising from the reviews they've received. It is a good measure of a great restaurant when you're the only ones there and still receive exemplary service. There is often the tendency to hover, but they did a flawless job. Every single item that we ordered was perfect. I don't mean good, I mean perfect. We got the best calamari I've ever had. It was fresh and seasoned incredibly with an unbelievably awesome marinara sauce. We also got a roasted eggplant appetizer that was great. I ordered the snapper, which they were out of, but they substituted it with swordfish and a side of fuscili pasta with vodka sauce. Have I mentioned that they nailed every single thing on this menu? The guys got all different foods (pastas w/ & w/o mb, bolognese sauce, etc...) and everybody just stopped talking while the food was there. That never happens. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. Thank you, thank you, thank you Yelpers. I've been to dozens of Italian restaurants in Chicago and none of them have blown my mind, but this place did. I am SO excited to go back as soon as I can. Verdict: The best Italian food I've ever had and it has to be up there with the best in Chicago.
