Saw this place on a feature they did on WGN Ch. 9 one day..and just the way the food LOOKED I had to stop in.. Keep in mind, this is a local joint..it's not very big..no frills at all--just good food. For me, I had the Rib tips-Hot Links combo..Tips were ok (I've had better--check out Hillery's Ribs in North Chicago), but the Hot Links were ON FIYAH!!!! Man, the Links were TIGHT. They also give you a good amount of food as well. They also keep it hood with the white bread and french fries on the bottom.. The sauce was solid as well, good mix of tangy and sweet.. Like I said, it's a local joint, so your wait for the food will be somewhat long..and since they were on tv, they now have lines that are long and out the door. But if you have time to spare, I would definitely check them out--especially for the Hot Links..

The food is excellent.. The staff is friendly. I live 50 miles away and I have no problem traveling for their ribs... EVERYTHING is fantastic...

I have lots of BBQ but this is the best ever. I'm a customer for life !! It's very inexpensive too. I was shocked at the porn-sized proportions of the hot links ! Try them they are delicious !

This is the best barbeque joint on the south side and probably in the city of Chicago. You get lean tips...no fatty meat like at some rib joints. Only complaint is at nighttime it is dark and gloomy outside and is not in the best neighborhood. I'll take my chances! The barbeque and sauce is second to none!

WOW!! What a gem! I've been trying barbecue joints all over the city and this one is far and away the best. The hot links are simply unreal and the rib tips meaty, delicious and plentiful. Great sauce, friendly service, only drawback is no seating. But EAT HERE you won't be sorry!

This is the place! The hot links will blow you out of your shoes! The slabs at this place absolutely gigantic. Mac doesn't trim them to nothing in order to make grindings for the hot links. When you see how low the prices are, you will think you have gone back in time at least 20 years! The only down side to this place is going to be how often you stop by and the weight you'll gain! These people cook rings around any one else you'll find. Here, you get a lot more bang for your buck and the food is totally fantastic. Give them just one try and you will be back and often!!!

Uncle John barbecue is off the chain. I pray that GOD continue to bless him each and every day that he's able to cook. I told my father I beleive some is right on his trial when it comes to barbecuing.Please give Uncle John a try.
