Tuscany

I was at Tuscany yesterday having dinner with my family. The food was good , but the service was not. The bar tender was very rude and treated my family and I as if we were outsiders. I had a very unpleasant time and will never go back to pay money to be treated unfairly.

Being an avid traveler I have experienced Italian cuisine from all ends of the spectrum. The meals served at Tuscany were absolute masterpieces, and their staff was wonderful, the restaurant is an experience you would not want to miss.

My wife chose Tuscany for her birthday dinner. It was a fantastic meal. As soon as you sit down, along with a basket of bread, they provide you with a plate of roasted garlic to which they add parmesan and olive oil. I've never had this before, but I will be craving it the next time I go out for Italian. We ordered some wine and a caprese salad. Nothing mind blowing, but very high quality ingrediants. I think that is what marked this meal as "perfect". All of the ingrediants were extremely fresh and flavorful. We then went on to a beet salad. For approximately 7 dollars, we expected a couple of beets a piece with a few pieces of lettuce. The two of us were surprised to each have a full salad. The balsamic was incredible. I ordered the Linguini Con Scampi Fra Diavalo, my wife ordered the Pear Ravioli. Both absolutely delicious. I called before I arrived for reservations and made note that it was my wife's birthday. Cheesecake was brought out without me even reminding them, although we did have to pay for it. All around, a great dining experience.
