Not recommended
Ok so they went threw something like 5 chefs in a year. Food was getting not just good but great. But the last Chef just left. So back to the 50's with the menu. They even put parsley sprigs on the plate.

New Chef
Unfortunatelly the new creative chef left. Breakfast is still great. The Dinner menu is the same old one. What a loss.

New Chef
Have eaten here many times over the years. The breakfasts are great!!!! The menu for dinner never changed. The fish , Salmon was always great, but the menu never changed. NEW CHEF!!! Still the Swedish dishes but with a new lighter touch, what a breath of fresh air. Lincoln Park dinners at Albany Park prices. Great food,Great Prices, BYOB, and a young CHEF with outstanding talent. Fun food !!! A go back place if you have not been there for awhile.

Tre Kronor Revisited
It has been 3 years since last we visited Tre Kronor. WOW! what a difference. Brought some family in from the East Coast for Brunch. Seated upstairs. Beautiful room. Service staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Menu offered three styles of eggs benedict; a deep dish smoked salmon quiche; superb French toast; and authentic Swedish pancakes to name a few. The perfectley sauteed breakfast potatoes were a nice touch. Coffee was excellent and went well with the fabulous cinnamon roll. Overall it was a fantastic dining experience. Going back soon. Oh...and did I mention the prices? Outstanding value!

Great little neighborhood place
Lived in the area for 30 years. Passed the place on Sundays and said it must be great, but never would wait outsde for who knows how long. Always a lot of people. They knew something we didn't .Great food, nice service, great atmosephere. Went during the week, when lines aren't so long. Had a great lunch.Presentation was appetizing. Walked over for dinner on a Saturday night (early) without a reservation, and had a great dinner. Would highly recommend one after 6 p.m. BYOB made it a good value. Two appetizers, two dinners, one dessert, great warm bread, and a complimentery muse $50. Definetley a come back place.

The best breakfast in Chicago
This little North Park gem is a hidden Chicago treasure. Everything on the menu is delightful, never a dull meal. Cozy and intimate, neighborhood-centric and welcoming. A wonderful treat for those who are tired of the same old, same old.
