Hidden Treasure!
Fish is fresh, rolls are innovative and tasty. Portions are on the generous side. Worth the wait!

Great Sushi
Can't beat the sushi at Toro! It's a little pricey, but it's great.

A Volcanic Experience
I have tried many Sushi places in chicago including Japonais and Tsunami and nothing compares to Toro! This place is amazing...definitely try the Volcano Roll and the Oh My God roll....def two of my favorites!

The Best In Town!
Plain and simple. This place has the best sushi around. Just be prepared to wait for a table or a spot at the sushi bar. You'll love it. It's worth it.

Hands Down Best Sushi!
I visited Toro for the first time on Friday evening and had the best sushi I have ever had. I have lived in Chicago for ten years, and stumbled upon Toro, specifically because I saw the BYOB sign and found a meter! The service was great, as well as Mitch's unique rolls. When you visit Toro, order from Mitch's side of the menu, instead of the typical choices. He is a great creative chef. The portion’s are plenty, and so fresh. I promise you will not leave with an empty wallet, or the need to pick up a burger on your way home. We ordered three rolls, eight pieces of sushi, and edema me, $49.00 without tip! That is a deal. Also, you can request to have your picture taken to put on the wall!

Sushi makes better lovers
I hate to write about Toro because I don't want anymore people going! We never had to wait before and now there is always a line, and for good reason! It is absolutely the best, freshest and cheapest sushi in all of Chicago, perhaps all of the U.S. I refuse to eat anywhere else. Mitch, the owner is an awesome and generous man. He comes up with new creative rolls constantly, he puts a little spin on your traditional sushi. If you haven't been, you must give it a try, you'll never eat sushi elsewhere again!
