    Love this Sushi!

Whenever I visit Chicago I have to get this sushi. No better value! The people are always super nice and the sushi is great!!!

    Some stars, some duds

I love the spicy vegetable udon soup-always made fresh to order. Their prepackaged sushi and California rolls, albeit a bit pricy, are also quite good. I have never had the made-to-order sushi. First experiences can be a bit daunting, especially when it's crowded it's not clear how/where/when to order (straight to the cash register or stand in line?)-I had a co-worker who said he left without ordering because he couldn't figure it out. Sometimes, if you go too late, the gyoza or rice bowls have been sitting too long and get squishy from steaming. Overall, though, I would recommend.

Yummy Fast Food "Sarari" Gai Style!

Tokyo Lunchbox has everything from edamame shu mai to teriyaki bowls and sushi at surprisingly good quality and taste for a fast food joint. TL is vegetarian friendly with yummy tofu options. Total service takes about as much time as trip to a McDonalds counter, and the food is much healthier. Expect to spend about $10 for a nice teriyaki bowl, some avocado makis and a bottled water. Itadakimas!
