Ya Think I was relieved
Made reservations for 7 persons and then I read the reviews. Oh brother! Was so nervous and anxious and had very low expectations for this dinner that I bought a pricey wine to bring along for redemption when all else failed. Greeted at the door by a lovely and welcoming hostess. Very pleasantly surprised when all our requests were met during the course of the evening and that my dining companions also thorughly enjoyed the meal. Some of them actually raved. Superb appetizers, excellent entrees and sinfully divine desserts all served by an excellent wait staff with the appropriate time lapses between courses in a beautiful space. Hope and wish for you what we experienced. Skip the wonderful salads and save room for the desserts and coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.

Think Twice
I would think twice before going to Think. The service was mediocre and cool. The appetizers and salads were good - even though they were going to charge me for an extra anchovy. None of the four of us liked our three different main courses, and the restaurant refused to substitute a side dish. The only memorable culinary experience we had was the excellent wine that our friends brought. But, at least, the restaurant was expensive!

My take on THINK
I went to Think with a large group of women (a low-key bachelorette party). We sat upstairs where the tables seemed to be all comprised of large, rather raucous parties - so it was pretty fun! the downstairs dining room seemed cramped/intimate The menu is impressive, the specials sounded so delightful we had to get them! The service took FOREVER! I think we got our entrees around 2 hours after we arrived - although we were seated very quickly and we had plenty of BYOB wine to share (i was pleased that the servers were very polite about the variety of cheap/supercheap wines my country bumpkin friends had brought) once the food arrived, all of my memories of waiting too long were banished - it was THAT GOOD! check out my blog to see pics and a description - http://barredowl.wordpress.com/2008/03/19/i-love-food/

Quaint and romantic
It the kind of place that makes you feel as though you've found something close to a secret. It's very small, lit mainly by candles and has a simple charm. The food is great and the wine is as good as what you brought with you.

I was THINKING
What a perfect dining experience begining with smoked salmon, and ending with heaven, ( a bittersweet chocolate (warm) cake.
