Wonderful roast curry duck!
The roast curry duck lights up your taste buds with the combination of the duck,vegetables and sauce. I must have it once a week!

For the best quality Thai food in Hyde park
When its a special occasion and we're thinking Thai, we head to the Snail. If it wasn't more expensive than Thai 55 or Noodles, we'd eat there a lot more often. It also has a much better ambiance than Siam, which is right next door and always look drab comparatively. If you get a chance, make sure to check out their drunken noodles or green curry - so good!

Very overrated
The food here is generally uninspired (decent smoothees, but how can you mess that up?). I've been persuaded to go to the Snail again and again in groups, and always been disappointed. Curry in particular is considerably better at Thai 55th, which is a block away. Admittedly, Snail has much better ambiance than T55 - and both are very inexpensive.

Great college town thai food
The food is great, traditional thai. Nothing terribly fancy, but it definitely is a solid bet.

The best Thai food
I've been all over the world, including Thailand and seriously have not had better Thai food. Every single dish I've had there is simply superb and the service is first rate. THIS is the place Hyde Park residents should take guest to impress them. I think folks are most impressed with good service and fantastic food and the Snail won't disappoint. Try the Lemon Chicken and the excellent side rice or any of the Duck dishes. Large but sensible servings and flawless prep. Enjoy.

Absolutely the Best!
Our family has been going here for over 10 years now, and we love the food. It's a wonderful place, family owed and operated and you will have to try it for yourself!!!
