Bad Luck Streak at Rosebud
I had my first bad Rosebud experience tonight at the restaurant on Taylor Street. From the time our table for four was seated, we were rushed. Although we had brought drinks from the bar, when seated our waiter approached and instead of asking if we would like drinks he opened with the dinner specials. Though we said we would need some time our waiter returned no less than 3 times in 12 minutes to try to speed us through our dinner. Our waiter tonight ruined our experience at Rosebud on Taylor. Much as we tried to slow him down, it turned out that we had completed our dinner within just 60 minutes. We had planned to make Rosebud our Saturday night but we were done in just an hour. We love the restaurant and we will be back but we will not want that waiter. again.

wonderful
I was in town for two days. Friday night I got disapointed at Custom House. Saturday afternoon Chicago food redeemed itself with The Rosebud on Taylor. Located half a block from the Italian/American Sports Hall of Fame, This place has some of the best Italian food. Anywhere. The hot antipastos and soups are great. The salads are amazing. The pastas are over the top. Everything is served family style and piping hot. Next time in Chicago, I'm right back on Taylor St.

If you are doing Italian, do Rosebud
We highly recommend this place, especially The Rosebud in Little Italy. This place is known for its large portions and it doesn't dissapoint it. We have been there several times now and always come out very very full. We love their bread with olive oil and cheese. They have good deserts but its difficult to get through a meal and still be hungry enough to order one. The restaurant is also reasonably price and has a great atmosphere. Ask for the first floor, it has a better atmosphere.

What is not to love???
Food is amazing. Staff is amazing. Decor is great. Eat in or take out - doesn't matter. The highlight of Taylor Street!

I see why Sinatra loved it here
A classic. From the unchanged decor to the never updated menu, this place harkens back to the Rat Pack in a good way. Why fix it if it ain't broke?
