Good food but still working out the kinks
I went to the point on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks with my husband and a friend. The drinks were good but a bit pricy. We started with the truffle fries which were good but very few came in the "full order." The sauces it came with were good but nothing special. I ordered the polenta cakes which were great! My husband and friend liked their entrees but didn't seem to love them like I did my polenta cakes (the meatball sandwich and a burger). I gave the place a 2 on service not because of anything the waitress did. She did a great job explaining the menu and was attentive. I was a bit annoyed that no one picked up the phone at the restaurant for hours during the regular hours and concerned that no one was at the front to seat you when you came in. We just looked lost. The place is nice inside (very Fulton River District with the exposed brick and duct work) but there is not much seating for groups (its pretty much all bar style with few tables). I will likely return though.
