best family diner around
the food is great, the family welcomes us everytime we come in. Most small diners only take cash and for .75 cents it is small price for credit card use since they have to pay a service charge. The prices are great and food quality you just cant beat. They make the best homemade soups.

Surcharge for credit card
While the food and service was good, they unexpected charge 75 cents additional for credit card. I chose to pay cash. Although I left a generous tip, had I used my credit card I would have reduced the tip by that much.

Great cozy place
This restaurant is alongside the HoJo where we stayed- went there twice for breakfast during our weekend. It was immediate and excellent service, very nice people, always cleaning the place. They have fresh squeezed OJ. They have good coffee. They have really cheap prices for what you get (and good selection too)- do yourself a favor and skip the trendy expensive brunch joint. If you are anywhere in RiverNorth, this quiet little place is perfect.

Best and cheapest breakfast in Chicago
These people are the nicest people and know how to cook an ordinary substantial breakfast at a fantastic deal. I go there every time I'm in Chicago. Beats all the fancy boutique places at inflated prices!

Great Little Spot
Great breakfast and lunch spot that is attached to the Howard Johnson Inn on Lasalle St.
