    Amazing!

My husband and I were recently in Chicago for a short trip. This place is amazing! It was beautiful with wonderful food and our server was absolutely the best! Just as cute and sweet as she could be. :-) We will definitely be back.

    Great Place!!

This place was fantastic!! Went after work. Fish n Chips are awesome. Our server was the best the pefect amount of attention. The bar can be loud so if you are on a date get a table.

    Cheaper than Other Places

We discovered the Gage while walking to the Corner Bakery. I decided to go in. My wife was agreeable, so we had lunch. She had the chicken sandwich and I chose the sausage plate. Including drinks, we spent only $10 more than lunch we had the next day elsewhere. The waitress was fun, knowlegdable and even bought a complimentary slice of brie when I asked, to accompany the excellent small bread loaf. We got there at the end of the lunch hour and the room was pretty empty by the time we finished. We chatted with the waitress and exchanged some foodie-type restaurant info and even gave her a few places to try. The atmoshere was enchanting, the food top-notch the service both efficient and pleasant and the price was reasonable. 5 Stars all the way.

    Fantastic!

OMG...went here with 2 college friends (from the '60's!) and what a wonderful place. Food was phenomenal (highly recommend Scotch Egg and Beet Salad)waiter was awesome, can't wait to go back.

    a nice escape

My boyfriend and I came across the Gage after a morning walk through the Millenium Park. Great place, really! I have to agree with the reviews. Our waitress was really fun. We tried the soup special she described as a "little touch of tropical to your day" with papaya and ginger. That was something new and delicious. Too bad we don't live in Chicago, we would return again and again! We will tell our friends in Ohio to visit when they are in town.

    Outstanding

After 2 weeks of substandard fare and service, Gage, restored my faith in American cusine. Definitely in my top 5 best ever meals. Can't wait to go back

    Very impressed

Went here in September with family. We were all very impressed. Lively atmosphere yet we felt very comfortable in a booth. Can't remember everything we had, but I did have the Duroc pork loin - very tasty; and another in the party had the elk - he said it was fantastic. Appetizers and desserts I remember to be equally yummy. Would definetly recommend and plan to go back when in Chicago next. Service was excellent - the waitress very knowledgable yet not pushy.
