Good pizza, 2.5 hour delivery time
We order from Art of Pizza about once a week. The pizza is consistently good and delivery usually takes 45 min to an hour, pretty standard for the city especially since we live on the north end of their delivery area. However, last night was a completely different story, we ordered last night at 6:30pm and did not receive our pizza until almost 9:00pm. When we called at 8:15 to see where our pizza was, we were told its out and should be there any minute, no apology, no offer of a discount, and it still took 45 minutes longer for the pizza to be delivered luke warm. A real disappointment from a good pizza place, I think we are going to take some time off from Art of Pizza.

Excellent Pan Pizza
The best pan pizza I've found in Chicago, and it's in a fast-food type place. Too bad they aren't open later.

Best Chicago Style Pizza
Best Chicago pizza. Hands down. It's delicious, plenty of sauce and cheese and only about $3 a slice!

Good thin pizza too
This place is great, fav pizza spot so far. Friday nite pizza delivery is not so great, pizza came undercooked, but I am sure they are trying to run a lot of pizzas especially weekend nights

Good Stuff
I was excited to try AOP as I'd heard good things. So my husband and I went there for dinner before heading out for the night. The pizza was very good however we ordered it by the slice and the warmer that they use to keep the pizza "warm" just doesn't work. The cheese was not melted which was a bit disappointing. Next time I will try to order a whole pizza and hopefully it will come hot out of the oven with melted cheese.

Sooo good
My wife and I moved to Chicago in February. During the first few weeks of apartment searching, moving in and unboxing we didn't want to cook - so we tried pretty much every stuffed pizza outlet we could find in the city. We'd never have heard of AOP except the doorman gave us their flyer. Why in god's name do they not have a web site? Anyway, their pizza is truly amazing. Best stuffed pizza in Chicago. Wifey and I usually order the largest stuffed one and eat it over 4 days in a row - that's how much we love it. If guests come and they want delivery I go for AOP, but if they want the full sit-down I still prefer Gino's East on Superior downtown (especially as Gino's has the world's greatest mozzarella sticks).

Best Stuffed Pizza
I can't speak to the thin crust or pan, because I haven't tried them yet, but the stuffed pizza is the best my wife and I have tried. (Better than Gino's East, Giordanos and Lou Malnati's deep dish.) So far, I have had the sausage and the hawaiian. My wife has had the pepperoni and the vegetarian. All have been either carryout or delivery and we have yet to be disappointed. The Tribune ranked this place No. 1 in the city for a reason -- the sauce, the cheese, the crust, the extra layer of dough, all are better than the competition and make it delicious. If someone has a negative review, either they didn't get the stuffed pizza or they're a competitor with an agenda.
