i've been living in gastronomically challenged albany pk hood for 8yrs but the bright spot in a land of bad mex & chinese food is thai valley. there is hope for good food in this area yet!!

I love the food here, but the service is so bad that I try to avoid eating in the restaurant. Instead, I order carry-out or have it delivered.

The curry here - especially the panang style- is the best Thai curry I've had. Thom Kha Gai is also excellent, as are the beef salads- Nue Num Thok and Yum Nue. The beef salads use charcoal-grilled beef, which not many Thai places go to the trouble of d
