Great food, pleasant atmosphere, awesome prices...highly recommend this hidden gem.

I have benn living in the area for 25 years and I love Thai Valley. I have been going there for years i even had friends get hooked to the restaurant. I love the people and especially the food. My cousin moved to Burbank Il and he still drives from 79th and Cicero to get the delicious food. If you are ever around Wilson and Kedzie you have to try it you will fall in love. :-)

I love the food here, but the service is so bad that I try to avoid eating in the restaurant. Instead, I order carry-out or have it delivered.

The curry here - especially the panang style- is the best Thai curry I've had. Thom Kha Gai is also excellent, as are the beef salads- Nue Num Thok and Yum Nue. The beef salads use charcoal-grilled beef, which not many Thai places go to the trouble of doing, and it makes a huge difference. Pad Woon Sen is also quite nice. Also, for those in the know, there are many not-on-menu dishes available. Atmosphere and decor is nicer and warmer than many modestly-priced storefront Thai eateries. Waitstaff are dilligent, and normally service is very prompt. But it is a small restaurant and if the kitchen gets a big crush of delivery orders or a large group of diners, you may have to wait a bit for your meal. But- try not to be in such a hurry anyway, sit and talk to your friends and relax and enjoy life, your food is worth the wait if one occurs.

Cashew chicken is fantastic!! We practically live around the corner from this place and order several times a month. Just can't enough of the cashew chicken. I found the pad see ewe to be too sweet and I wasn't crazy about the pad thai.

This is the place to go if you are in dying need of some serious laid back atmosphere. Good food, great atmosphere, and a beautiful array of dishes.
