Pretty hit or miss--- more miss than hit!

I love thai food, just not this place. The pad thai was dry, flavorless and just over all not good. The pa kee mao was just OK, the pad woon sen was blah.

    Supper Club Review

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food is not only tasty, but fresh, hot, and is served in a very presentable way. The curry dishes are excellent. I like it extra spicy and boy is it! This restaurant has been in it's new location for about 3 years now. The older one was much smaller. This one can accommodate at least 100 people. The interior is well lit and you have a great view of South Wabash Avenue (oh boy).

Wow... value, delivery and good food!

I travel to Chicago each week from NYC and need to find places to each 3 days a week for lunch and dinner. I'm so glad I found this place. I've ordered a couple different appetizers(Tofu & Vietnamese Rolls) and a few different meals(Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Curry) and I have to say, if you want good food(not OMG fabulous, but MUCH better than the average), choose Thai Spoon. Their flavors aren't diluted, the ingredients are always fresh and my favorite dish is the Pinapple and Cashew Fried Rice(ask for Xtra Spicy if you like spice). Their menu is quite extensive, their portions are over indulgent (saved a few small fried rice lunch leftovers for dinner) and you can mix and match pretty much whatever you want if you're willing to pay a buck or two extra(and at $6-8 per plate that's pretty reasonable). Overall I haven't found anything that matches the value you get here. The atmosphere is typical: basic asian sit-down and definitely not fancy, but I prefer to find great food with "eh" atmospheres than vice versa. The prices are more than fair especially since the portions of a small order are more than enough to fill the average(and even above-average) eater. The lunch take-out service is good - maybe 10minutes for your food from time of order(I've been taking out for the last few months from here about 1x per week and I've never recieved a wrong order, cold food or anything bad). I'll find out tonight how their delivery service is.
