Well i used to come to Thai Bowl a lot becuase it was cheap, you get a lot of food, and was good. One day my girlfriend and I ordered the Pad-sew-ew a little more crispier then regular. They gave us pretty much fried chips. It was horrible, you couldn't even eat it because it was rediculously too crunchy. We asked for our money back, but they would not budge. They made us another order but charged us for two. Bull$#!7 if you ask me. The people who work there are stuck up, and do not care about good service. My buddy and his girlfriend came one day, they were approached immediatly for an order but were not ready so asked for a little more time. The lady never came back to get their order, 30 min goes by and still no response. They ask if they can order already, and nothing happened so they left. Good Luck if you want food prepared your own way.

I used to love and recommend Thai Bowl until today... when I got this glue-like, full of corn starch something - Hot Pot Noodle Dish... The Chicken was dry,the noodles were just yucky! I couldn't eat any of it so I had some co-workers try it, to see if maybe my taste buds were acting up. They were on the same page with me, one almost got sick... Stick with what they do best, Pad Thai I'm never going there again, nor order delivery! Too many places to go to and I guess that's the only "natural selection".

They have the best food but when it comes to service, not the best.. it is a good place to order food for delivery not for dine in..

...but not much else. I personally have not had a terribly long wait there, but my average wait time is longer at Thai Bowl than at Bamee (30 minutes vs. 10 minutes). There is no atmosphere to the restaurant; it looks like a Hot Dog/Burger place. But the food is so good that I don't mind the wait and lack of ambience. If I want atmosphere with my Thai, I go to Dao. The food really is worth it, hands down. Great big servings of delicious food and on the cheap; perfect for campus living. I highly recommend the Basil Chicken; it is the best I have had in the city.

my favorite crazy noodles of the places that deliver in the area. you get a free appetizer too, which is always nice.

They are my favorite place to get thai food. They have a small but well executed menu. I would live on thai bowl if i could. But the thing is there service is so so so bad someone really should tell them to kick it up a notch. At work we fight over who has to call and order for delivery because they are frustrating. Despite obvious language issues they constantly put you on hold for long periods of time and then when you are there in person at the tables they are also quite slow. I recommend takeout because it is the least dissapointing service. I wish i didn't love there thai food so much. Pad thai is excellent, but I live for their amazing rama chicken and green curry rice dishes.

I had my first "thai experience" at Thai Bowl. It is indeed extremely delicious...but the service sucks!! It's a hit or miss really... but if your in the area and in the mood for thai definitely go there. Come summertime, good luck in getting your grub asap if you want to sit outside and admire the weather. The smoothies are great as well.. but may take twice as long to have it made for you. I recommend New Pot in Oak Park, IL, or even Yummy Thai just about a block or two down from Thai Bowl.
