Only bad meal in Chicago during Neocon
After visiting the amazing Art Institute of Chicago Museum, four of us visiting from Los Angeles dined at Terzo Piano for lunch. Three out of four of us barely ate our food. The spinach salad with grilled chicken, shaved fennel, parmesan, rosemary, and creamy pine nut dressing was good. The flatbread with pesto sauce and fresh tomatoes had soggy bread from too much pesto and was pretty much inedible. The hand crafted spaghetti with tarragon almond pesto, roasted mushrooms and fresh chevre was a tiny portion with over cooked pasta. The special soft shell crab was on a hard bread roll as a sandwich with the soft shell crab spidery legs sticking out - not very appetizing. Mustard was spilled on a messenger bag on the floor.
