    Unusual flavorings

I tried the empanadas... they were OK. I tried the papa rellena and that is to die for. We also had the steak with rice and beans.... the steak is not a juice steak, it is sliced thin beef with a lemony taste. A little overcooked for my tasted. The rice and beans were great. The onion marinade was great and the green sauce is very spicy

    little space

I have seen a lot of reviews about this place, some good, some bad, so we decided to try it. Since lately the paella has been around, i got that, plenty seafood to eat but it didn't have the special kick that the reviews are talking about, also the picture is good, but is not what i got. I don't know, things are not what it seems (i guess). Place is very small but i guess some people like it. Good service, but dishes are up high, a little too much for my wallet. Now Rios de Sudamerica is also Peruvian but has a bigger dinning area, i will try it next time.

My wife and I went to Taste of Peru, we had seen the restaurant on check please. This place has the best food ever. I can't wait to go back with my wife again and friends. If you live on the south side of the city like I do, Its worth it.!!!!!

    Great International Food

We went with friends for lunch and we ordered ceviche mixto, palta rellena, arroz con mariscos and tallarin saltado. everything was outstanding. Watch for the hot sauce, it does not go well with bread, but is perfect with the seafood. Go and experience excellent peruvian food if you have the chance.

    Nice Place

I went to Taste of Peru on a Friday with reservations.I loved the music was amazing i recamend you go.The owner was a very nice man and was a master top spinner. If you could do what he did with the top you would eat free. And ofcourse i couldn't.I go almost all the time now and love it more and more. And the sauce they serve is spicy hot and i thought it was quacamole but it was made out of hot pepers and it was ggggggggooooooooooooddddddddd!!
