Taqueria La Sierra

We call this place "Death by Queso" because it will kill you -- in a good way -- with cheese. The food is fantastic; spicy if you want; not if you don't. We usually get the burritos but our all-time favorite are the nachos, which are bigger than the average nachos and fantastic. The people there are incredibly nice as well. We were angry when we moved out of the neighborhood to lose this place, but now that we're back, we're excited to eat more Death by Queso.

Good food and reasonable priced! Was intending to go to Mixteco Grill down the block, but their web claimed they open 9AM SO why was I turned away at 4:30PM?? I am glad I found you guys !

I went to La Sierra after a friend highly recommended it. Its a nice place, but it has a really bad service. After been seated and our order was taken, our waitress was no where to be found!!! We didn't wait to long for our food I have to admit, but the worse part came when I found a hair on my plate (which of course wasn't mine). I felt sick and I made a complaiment. The waitress told me that the only thing she could do for me, was to give me another dish. Basically she wanted me to pay one way or the other. I would never go to this place again!!!

We enjoy this restaurant... nice staff, tasty but economical food (serving both Ecuadorian and Mexican especialidades), and newly remodeled location with outdoor summer seating.
