I have had the same issues as alot of the reviewers. The quality of the actual grilling was failing thru the years, and i had always been there when they were busy. I went on a Monday, and i had the best steak ive ever had there. There was no wait, and and they were much slower than normal.... hence better steak, service and quality grilling. Thats my 2 cents.

Servers seem to enjoy arguing with guests. The brenjana chef special could have been a great dish if it weren't served COLD in the middle. My steak was killed and tasted like a bad piece of rubber, and the server had the audacity to say "it's not fast food" to me when I asked him how much longer would it take after 50 minutes of waiting. Two years ago that place was one of my favorites, but last night was my last there.

Service was a bit slow, atmosphere was cheery, food was good, BYOB policy was great, but what surprised me was what a value this place is. A huge dinner for four with a lot of extras (four appetizers, two extra sides, two iced teas, four desserts) came to $117, half of what we expected. We were there on Sunday, it's now Wednesday night, and we are still eating Tango Sur leftovers plus I have more in the freezer and I made big beef sandwiches for our guests to take on the plane Monday. Portions are simply gargantuan. Doggie bag won't cut it---take a shopping bag when you go.

I love the food there. Everything I have tried was very yummy. Service is on the other hand -- Horrible. Start from the host - never smile, act like I was there begging for free food. The servers are impolite and inattentive. Food & BYOB, those are the reason why I still going there.

Thought we'd have a nice quiet dinner. The place was louder than any restaurant I've ever been to, at one point my date and I were shouting to be heard. The entre' for 2 was served over an hour after we ordered - the table on one side of us, seated after us, had what looked like a similar dinner and was served about 45 min before we were. The salad was about a 0.50$ bunch of lettuce, 2 thin slices of almost ripe tomato and some onion slices. Unbelievable - basic isn't even the word for it, simple would be a generous term. The slab of meat would have fed 4 adults easily. I would never go back and I will advise friends to stay away as well - why? it's loud, slow, somewhat expensive, and the food is just average.

Best place for BYOB and quality argetine beef. great for a date

I like the BYOB, it gives me a chance to drink some of those wines I have been cellering foir the last 10 years. I have eaten at most of the BYOB sopts in the city and this is one of my favorites. I also like Tomboys on Clark. The steak was great. It was most gargontunous peice of meat I have ever seen. I had to sleep on my side that night. The place is alittle dark and cramped. But the food makes it worth my time. Dinner for 4 wo/tip $129
