Authentic. How many times have you seen that word? How many times have you seen "Mexican Restaurant" afterwards? Many, many, times. So I decided to try yet again another "Real" mexican restaurant. The first thing you notice is the building. It is on the corner of a street and pink. While the pink is supposed to stand out, it is very easy to miss. The interior is not the best. The walls are ugly, and there are few chairs. The food is good. Almost scrumptious. Almost. See that rant about authenticity? There is too much tamale bread and not enough meat. Yet again. How hard is it to find a respectable tamale? However, although not 100% true to its origins, it still is great! They also have ice cream for some reason. The service is great. The workers are friendly and interested. You should (probably) Check it out, since I can't darn find any other good mexican restaurant that serves good tamales. *Sigh* Is there any worth-a-while tamale restaurant?
