Looking for years.
I fell in love with thai food some years back. The cook at Thai Avenue was at a location on the north side called Thai Peppers for a couple of years. His food was so exceptional that I would eat there at least once a week.. Thai Peppers changed owners and the food was never the same. I tried many different Thai resturants over the last few years and nothing has ever compared. I found the cook's new location by chance and the food is better than ever. Anyone who likes Thai food MUST try Thai avenue. You will never want to eat Thai anywhere else.

Best Thai for the price!
We love this little Thai restaurant. The food is simple but tasty, the service is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is clean, bright and cheerful. (And the lunch specials are a steal!)

best thai in chicago
i have been a big fan of joy's thai for a long time, until i found thai avenue. they are less expensive and the food is even better! their pad thai is really flavorful and their pad kee mao isn't too spicy and is loaded w/ fresh veggies. and they deliver if you live in the hood.

good food and great value
Great fresh food. They do tofu well. Dine in and enjoy the casual, bright storefront atmosphere, or get carry-out. If you want Thai food on Argyle Street, it's either Thai Avenue or Thai Pastry for you.
