Great Place!
A great family sushi place. Frequent this place. Definitely recommend the veggie sushi rolls and the Boston Maki. PLUS! If you don't mind a different twist on teryaki chicken- try the spicy teryaki chicken. Enjoy!

Worst Ever
I disregarded the negative reviews for this place when researching this restaurant. Big mistake. The courtesy of this place made me look like a jerk in front of my lady. We came in near closing time and were about to leave but the sushi chef insisted we stay. Turns out that means we have to swallow sushi rolls whole without chewing and pay bills within 15 minutes of sitting down. I wish I would have tipped them a big fat O, but because the bill comes before you get kicked out, that didn't really happen. Thanks Mura. Sushi is supposed to be an aphrodisiac, but in your case - she says it was the worst ever. Thanks.

Good Food. Poor Service.
We went on a Monday night and the joint was still packed. Don't go in here looking for a quick meal. Waitress was very slow. However, the sushi was fabulous and the chicken teriyaki was delicious. The food was worth the wait, but the prices were a little steep. Two bucks for a can of coke! Overall, great food... but the service could be stepped up a bit.

Best place in town!
Sushi Mura is the best sushi place in town. The food is fresh and rolled to perfection, but the thing that keeps me going back is the service. Sit at the sushi bar and you will instantly feel at home. The sushi chefs are friendly and make you feel like family. Definitely recommended!

Good service, not top of the line food
The atmosphere and service here was fantastic. It felt like a locally run joint with a family atmosphere. The sashimi was good but was not overly impressed with the rolls. The fish could have been a bit fresher, but well worth the price. Great place if money is an issue but not if looking to impress an expensive date. Overall, I recommend this restaurant and experience the service for yourself!

Best Sushi for your $$$$
Sushi Mura has bar none the best service of any place I have been in Chicago. The sushi is top notch, with a number of unique rolls that will compete head to head with places that charge twice as much. I have yet to find another place where the sushi chef participates in the customary sake bomb! Enjoy

a nice sushi dinner
my bf and I went here close to before the place closed and the waitress and staff were really nice...even though they wanted to go home. We got three rolls and all of them were good and unique. This place has a nice atmosphere and a good place to catch up w/ someone.
