Best Sushi in Chicago - Period!
My wife and I come here once a week -- we love this place. We've taken everyone who's visited us in Chicago and they love it too. The bottom line: If you want the freshest, tastiest sushi in Chicago with very reasonable prices and an extremely friendly staff, go to Sushi Loop. They've got THE BEST sushi menu in town as well as bento boxes, udon, and even Korean BBQ!!! The diversity of the menu is fantastic...this is not your typical sushi restaurant. If you're the adventurous type, try the Blowfish Skin or Jellyfish sushi -- it's not for amateurs! Ambiance is great and it's never too crowded or loud, probably because it's in Greektown. Nevertheless, it's a definite gem!

I eat here often
The Bi Bim Bop is great. And while this place isn't where I'd necessarily want to spend an anniversary, it certainly is my choice of venue for weekly takeout. They serve generous sushi portions at reasonable prices. The food is tasty, great selection, and I really like the owners. I never write reviews but felt compelled because I saw a negative one. This place should definitely be considered your predictable stand by.

Lovely
Sushi Loop is a wonderful place to have a quiet and lovely lunch or dinner. The couple who own the restaurant are warm and friendly. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I am especially fond of the loop bento, a luncheon special,.

ok korean, not very good sushi
We go here a lot for Korean, which is pretty good, have tried the sushi once and was not impressed, fish wasn't very tasty or fresh.

Surprising little place!!!
Big sushi eater... found this place on a fluke as it's close to my work. Wandered in and found the owner to be a pleasant happy guy that makes some fantastic sushi. Been all over the place and this little spot supplies some of the best fish around. Very reasonable prices as well. The spicy tuna roll is one of the best in the city!!! No attitude big dividend

Great food in low-key atmosphere
Some of the most delicious, fresh sushi I've had in Chicago. Menu is very creative. Not overpriced. Friendly, fast service. Restaurant is quiet, dimly-lit, and inviting. Highly recommended.

Best kept sushi secret in Chicago
Sushi Loop has the best quality fish in the city. They have an unbelievable selection of truly unique maki rolls and they have fish that other places don't have like super white tuna and abalone. They also have a great selection of cooked food for the non-sushi lover. It's a couple that runs the place and the sushi chef/owner always thanks me for coming. The ambiance is quiet and non-offensive and it's a storefront that they've done a nice job of transforming. All in all, a great bargain and fab dining experience.
