Steve's Pizza

I used to go to Steve's when I was just out of high shcool and it was phenominal. On the take out menu they say since 1990. Steve's Pizza existed in the 80's. Maybe they sold the business or something. Anyway, I moved away and recently moved back to the neighborhood and really looked forward to having their pizza again. What a mistake. I do not know how they managed to burn the top surrounding the pizza and it was basically raw in the middle. There was sooooooo much cheese on it you could barely chew it without gagging. I am a cheese lover and do not mind a lot of cheese but this was ridiculous. I asked for extra extra extra sauce and they barely put anything on. The sauce I remember was to die for and now it tastes like the same old generic pizza sauce. The crust was nothing to write home about either. It was too thick and overcooked. Nothing special abouth this place anymore and what a shame. It used to be so very very good. I will never go back or order from there again.

If you eat anything from this place. You have to get their Taco Pizza. It is unlike any taco pizza will ever have. Mind you it is a belt buster but it is soooooo good. I would skip thier pan pizza. Their pasta dishes (especially the Eggplant Parmesan) are to die for. When this place first opened up c.1990, it was a beautiful full resturant, now it's a shack, but a good shack at that.

The pizza was very good(& I'm picky). They could use a little more sauce but otherwise very good. The Italian Beef sandwiches are excellent. Best taste on greasy feel. Excellent spices and tasty tender real beef (not phony tasting). Definately will go back again and again.
