Upscale neighborhood prixe fixe restaurant. Inviting ambiance and friendly cordial service. The food inventive but not all the flavors melded together . Sprout touts an all organic menu. As far as appetizers go: Salads and veggies were fresh tasting. The meat carpaccio wowed, but coulld have done w/o the beet fennel concoction which marred the fresh-tasting scallops. The apple granita tasted like iced applesauce. Organic wines fell short and The vegetarian entree disappoints though the server touted as 'one of the best in the city 'was the same potatoes and peas which accompanied the meat entrees. The rabbit tasted dry and flavorless but would go back to try the lamb. The third course dessert: each would have tasted more successful w/o. the extra savory ingredients of corn, popcorn, chocolate with beets- fig, phyllo and fennel- lose the veggies! Still Nice to have a fine dining spot in the neighborhood- hope it can improve and stick around. Avg $ pperson-$100 with drinks.
