Makes a REAL hotdog
I watched them build this place as a kid. I grew up right down the street. We use to save pennies just to get a hotdog from there. They spoiled me on what a good hotdog is. When I moved to Indiana and ordered a Chicago Dog at restaurant, I got this THING with ketchup, plus it was a generic hotdog . My first thought was -What..This isn't a hotdog. IF I dare chance to order a chicago hotdog anywere I always find out first if it's vienna beef. And stress, No Ketchup....This little place puts fresh cucumber on the hotdogs. It just adds so much to it. I've read that chicago hotdogs don't usually have cucumbers on it. Well mine always did and I still love it.
