Love this place!! Yes, you may have to wait, and yes they may not answer the phone the first time, but THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! I love to see OUR people take PRIDE in a community and a family OWNED & OPERATED business!!

People say that service is slow so just know you need to practice your patience. This is the best grilled chick on the South Side and worth waiting for. The race is not given to the swift. Lets get behind our own and support him without murmuring and complaining. If you have something to say tell him he will listen . Don't put a brother on blast cause it makes you look like the crab in the barrel.

I just love the food here. My all time favorite is the grilled salmon dinner. I order it with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. The portions are very generous and salmon is grilled and sessoned to perfection. I am also a fan of the shrimp & chicken alfredo...sooo yummy. I go for carryout weekly. I usually call in my order 15 minutes before and I have never had to wait. (Sometimes I wish I had to wait because the of intriguing conversations I have with some of the most friendliest patrons, plus the chefs are charming, positive-minded and happy.They really put a big effort into pleasing their customers and value theit feedback. Free street parking is a plus and a free parking lot is located across the street. Bravo to Sizzlin' Skillet for offering good quality healthy yet tasty dishes to the Southside where it is definitely needed and greatly appreciated.

Sizzlin Skillets is a diamond in the rough. The food is Excellent. When ever I order from them I am beyond satisfied, Be prepared to wait for your food because it is made to order , this is not fast food. but food excellently prepared. I am in love with their buffalo chicken wraps which I get at least once a week. The only thing that could make this restaurant better is a well put together eating area and a delivery service. I would definitely recommend their service

I found out about this place when I started working down the street from it. Excellent food, everything is made to order, so you have to be patient. I recommend calling in your food. They haven't found a delivery employee yet, so give them a break on that part. I've never had bad food, never had bad service, and each time I am greeted with a smile. Highly recommended.

Luckily this place is located near where I work. I know that I'm going to get a fresh wrap or dinner when I go here. The owner is very friendly as well. Definitely one of my favorite spots for lunch on the South Side. Although, my buddy ordered a dinner from there and he said it was great too. Will have to get that later this week. Just finished the buffalo chicken wrap...tasted great.
