Reliable and cheap
This is a great place to go if you are in the area and want good, no frills Thai food. The curry and noodle dishes are solid, the vegetable/tofu stir fry dishes are excellent, and the prices are unbeatable in this neighborhood. It's not a particularly special environment and the service is adequate, but for these prices, one shouldn't quibble over these things. It is great for carry-out too. They are very gracious in dealing with vegetarians and will substitute any meat with tofu. Awesome place for a good, cheap, fairly healthy meal.

Fantasic
I found out about this place from word of mouth and was skeptical from the out side looks, but I am so glad I tried it. It is some of the best sushi and Thai food I have ever had. I love the Pad Thai, Vegetable Supreme (which is realy spicy!!), and the veggie egg rolls and cucumber salad. Those are my regulars. The service is pretty average. They are pretty quite so if you don't like waiters that are always around poking and asking questions you will love them. They do their job well though getting what you need before you ask and cleaning off the tables.

Go for the yummy Thai
Love the red curry chicken and curry noodles (same sauce). Delicious steamed shrimp dumplings. Can't wait to try more.

Great little place in downtown Chicago
My friends and I had dinner at Silver Spoon last week. It's just a small place and it's not outstanding when you look from outside. However, I loved sushi there. The fish was really fresh. Pad Thai noodle was fantastic too. A friend of mine ordered a Thai salad, it was spicy but so good:). The service was alright. They seemed working so hard when it was busy. Nobody could pick up the phone. It's not a fine dining with expensive dish, so do not expect too much. The servers were nice and they did a good job. We ordered lots of things but the price was still reasonable. I will be back soon.

Great food with reasonable price
I love Sushi here. I ordered Sushi deluxe and all fish were so fresh. My friend got some Thai food and they were awesome as well. The service was not bad. We brought our own wines and we drank a lot. They charged 5 dollars per person for corkage but it was still worth. Silver Spoon is a nice small restaurant to hang around with your friends or family. I will come back to try more sushi for sure.

Awesome Sushi
On my goodness. It was great!!!! Some of the best sushi I have had. I thoroughly recommend the Sumo roll and the dragon roll. They are both amazing. The Spicy salmon roll is also one of the best I have ever had. For the price and the atmosphere of being downtown it is a great place. I highly recommend it!!! Happy Sushi eating.
