Expected quality but pricey for it's location
For some reason I think it is only fair to rate an Asian restaurant by an Asian person who actually knows the background and heritage. So here it is. The food quality is good and authentic, but not much better than the places in China Town. The service is very good, but the atmosphere (somewhat contemporary and chic) does not justify the prices. So if you are interested in the food you will be better off in China Town. But if you want to be in West Loop where there aren't many authentic Vietnamese food picks, Sawtooth is it. By the way, it is next to a fitness center so you can work off the guilty pleasures afterwards.
