It was our first visit, but it felt like we had been there many times. A very welcoming environment replete with lots of handshaking, back-patting, and hugging among staff and customers. We were with out-of-state friends and had a wonderful time. The greeter was very friendly, our waiter engaging (and he spoke Italian--a big plus), and the owner we met seemed genuinely happy to welcome us to his restaurant. The food was quite good and reasonably priced, but the single most impressive quality of dining at Sabatino's is the welcome home, convivial atmosphere. We will be back again and again!

I hae been going to Sabatino's ever sine I was a kid (I am 31 years old now) and I have always had a great experience. The place has an old world feel, delicious food, and a charming staff. The owners are always around and not only do they come to your table to ask how you are and how the food is, they even cook some of the dishes and desserts table side. Plus, the server/hostess Ramona is simply a doll. Whether you like pasta, fish, veal, steak, chops, or chicken, you will find something that your palate will love! I have loved every experience there and so has every person to whom I have recommended this place.

From the first moment we arrived i was totally impressed. like a seen from goodfellas the ambience was fantastic. We were in a party of 8 with 2 small children. The staff were went out of their way for us. I loved slicing our own bread. I took Oysters to start with Minestroni to follow, both were divine. Actually the soup was the best i have ever tasted. For main Course i went with the Veal stuffed with Italian sausage served with a sweet tomato sauce, beautiful. To top a fantastic evening the owner payed us a visit and brought a platter of fresh fruit, delightful. I must add the 2 gentleman playing violin and guitar were excellent.

I've been to Sabatino's many many times and even had a private party there once. When you go make sure you have plenty of time. This is not a place to go when you're in a hurry. Make a reservation and you still have to wait to be seated when you arrive. The food is fantastic. I've had ribs, fish, pasta, chicken and always have been pleased. Drinks are terrific and the piano bar after dinner on Friday or Saturday is not to be missed. Sabatino's owners are always appreciative of my repeat visits and has given me complementary drinks or food in past dinings. Some waiters and waitresses are more jovial than others although all are competent. This is a crowded busy place and should not be overlooked.

I just got back from Sabatino's on the recommendation of a friend. What a fabulous time. I am so tired of hoity toity trendy restaurants where everyone looks the same and food is "eclectic." Sabatino's is exactly the opposite. All different types of people, strong drinks, excellent food, dim lighting, and a wonderful waitress named Michelle, made for an evening to remember. The owner stopped by our table several times to introduce himself and see how we were doing. We will be back soon - in fact, this may be my new regular dinner spot in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Hostess was less than charming - when we told her we didn't have reservations she made a face. We were seated quickly and server took our drink orders. Place began to crowd up after 630 to the point every 5mins bus boys and waitresses kept excusing themselves to get through to other parties. The area we were located in was definitely not a romantic spot - it was too noisy you can practicately hear everyone's conversations. Soup, Salad, Entrées were served every 30 mins. When entrées finally arrived my friends chicken had an eye lash on it she disregarded it. My entrée the norweign salmon had a black short hair on the sauce. Plate was replaced but after having my entire party finish their food. In total we were there 2hr and 15 mins. I can suggest that servers should try to lift trays higher to prevent their hairs from being dropped on food because they carry entrée trays so close to their necks.. I will NOT go back to Sabtino's this place is better off kept a secret.

Sabbies is a favorite of mine. A lot of food for the main selection. I can still taste their soup and the snapper. They always give out a rose to the ladies on Valentines day, and the Wednesday lobster specials are great. The piano in the bar gives you that classic NW side feel from the start. They have been there for years and definately know what their doing!
