Unpleasant experience
The Chilean sea bass was spoiled. What decent chef can't smell that a mile away. The only reason I gave the food a 1.0 was that my girlfriend's steak and the appetizers were decent. The service was subpar and unattentive. We left as the place filled up around 9:30 on a Saturday. Looked like the entertainment and dancing would be fun if we stuck around.

Favorite restaurant in the city!
Rumba is so much fun! The food is pricey, but not any more so than any other upscale restaurant downtown, and it's definitely worth it. Absolutely delicious food that achieves a wonderful fusion of tradition with a twist. The music is hot, the ambience is dramatic, and the service is excellent. It can get a bit loud on weekends, but why go to a Latin restaurant on a Saturday night if you're not in the mood for some great music? Wonderful place for a special occasion or out-of-town friends.
