The fish could not be fresher for a Midwest restaurant. The sauces are MAGIC! You must have the chocolate soufflé for desert Enjoy.

Our party of 5 had one of the best meal experiences of our life this past week. The service was perfect, the food was the best and the entire staff was entirely focused on making the meal one to remember. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Roy's has the freshest fish that I have had in Chicago. The appetizers delicious, the kajiki just wowww and the dessert just melts in your mouth. Oh and always get the kajiki medium rare because it really brings out the texture and flavor of the fish. Everything was just absolutely amazing!

Having been to the Roy's in Hawaii, I expected that the Roy's on State street would not be able to top that experience. I was wrong. From cocktails to dessert, our party of 5 was amused by the presentation and thrilled by the variety of flavorful choices. Sushi... DimSum ...Seafood... Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Most definitely a great choice for family and friends, but also a different style of restaurant to treat clients to for dinner. I thought the table arrangements were very well planned out and loved grand windows with a beautiful view of the blizzard conditions outside. Great service too, from start to finish. If you are one who refrains from meat during Lent, I would describe the butter fish as sinfully delicious!

Roy's serves the best chocolate souffle I have ever had. You have got to try it. The appetizers and entrees are definitely tasty; could use a bit more seasoning though. The place is elegant but not over the top and their outdoor area is beautiful. Have dinner but definitely save room for dessert.

Fantastic service. I agree with the first reviewer that the butterfish is phenomenal - you won't believe how good it is. Nice atmosphere. Great experience all the way around.

Roy's is great. I've never had a bad meal there. The butterfish is to die for. As are the Guava Martini's and the Lava Cake! The fish is fresh and prepared wonderfully. The presentation is phenomenal.
