The food quality is great. They cook with fresh ingredients from the pasta to the seafood. I enjoyed the fried calamari and penne w/vodka sauce. The only issue is the service consistency. It is hit or miss with this place in regards to the wait staff. I will continue to go back for the food and tip poorly to those who take away from my dining experience.

I was here on a holiday luncheon. I told the waiter I was vegan and would like any of the side dishes (mushrooms, corn, tomatoes, rice, potatoes) as long as they could be made vegan (no animal products used). I was offering to be very flexible with my meal, knowing that I was with a group and that this is a steakhouse. Unfortunately, I was brought a plate of asparagus and corn. A large misconception is that vegans only eat vegetables, and I had not mentioned any asparagus. The vegetables were overcooked and had little flavor. I was very disappointed that the chef could not accommodate a bit more creatively.

The new rosebud prime has a classic steakhouse atmosphere with a huge 40 foot high ceiling. The only drawback is the only restroom is located upstairs. The food is what you would expect at a Chicago steakhouse, but it is executed very well. I had the bone in ribeye and it was nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. What really stood out was the service. Our waiter (I have forgotten his name) was very knowledgable and not overly attentive. He helped us pick out a wine and also suggested some of his favorite items on the menu. All in all i had a fantastic time and i can't wait to go back.
