Used to love this place but....
this had always been my favorite restaurant- Ive come here for years, brought friends and business guests. For many of business clients it was an annual ritual to come to Chicago on business and go to Agostino's. Last Saturday my best clients were in town and we went to Agostino's and were terribly disappointed. The alfredo was a thin custard- tasted as if the chef had forgotten the cheese! The mussels were thin and fewer than usual. The other dishes were bland and unseasoned. All in all the food was a disppointment. The service, however, was great as always. I will still keep Agostino's on my list but will hestitate to bring a client or friend here now

Excellent food, attentive, helpful service, nice atmosphere. This is our favorite italian restaurant.
