    Times Are a-Changin'

I just recommended Reza's to somebody on chowhound.com looking for a place to take a large family group en route from Northwestern U to downtown. Then I looked at the current menu and, yikes, Reza's has gotten more expensive. Prices are double what they were when I lived nearby and ate there often.

    Better Years Ago

I still eat here once in awhile..They have sort of cheaped out on their food selection in the buffet and there regular meals..You don't get grilled vegtables with any of the meals unless you pay extra, there are no grilled vegs. during the buffet..It was better before and the service was great when it was all persian men waiters..Change in the hood and so you must comply or people complain about rights? Oh well..

    Has gone downhill

I love Persian food, but unfortunately, Reza's has gone downhill in recent years. You can still get some good dishes, like the kabobs, but I think they've tried to cater to your average American eater too much, and they have compromised the authenticity of their food. I do like the big bistro atmosphere of the place though. It feels like you're in a foreign country to me, and if you sit near the windows, the people watching from the street is good.

Wow do we miss this place!

We've moved out of the city but this place remains one of our favorites that we'd make the 120 mile round trip for. It was our go to place for out of town visitors. Something for eveyone and oh, so good.Have friends coming in from Boston we'll be there!
