Terrific Dinner
When you're in the mood for something Italian, Prosecco should be at the top of your list. The welcome at the door is sincere and there isn't a bad table in the place. The menu certainly has something for everyone, but on the off chance that you'd like a certain dish tweaked, the skillful kitchen makes your wish come true! Prime steaks match the best steakhouses in town. Rack of lamb is generous and perfectly prepared. Fish courses are fresh, simple and expert! There are certain pastas that I dream about long after my last visit. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the extensive and reasonably priced wine list. Service is correct and you'll never feel rushed. I can't wait to go back!

Lunch time
Out of d tourist path, but pleasant outdoors in a warm day. Risotto was excellent. U must have a prosecco. A bit slow service but gives u a sense of being on vacation, not good if time constrain.

Just like Firenza
As residents of Cincinnati, Ohio, we were visiting our daughter and son in law in Chicago this past weekend. Knowing our love of Italian foods since our visit with her while she lived in Italy for two years, she suggested Proseco. It was truly a dining experience equal to an evening we had in Florence, Itlay in 2002. Not only was the food prepared to perfection, the evening at the chefs table was beyond our wildest expectations. We will be dining at Prosecco again and tell all our friends to do the same.

Beautiful room and quite romantic
Just ate here with my wife and really liked it. The room is beautifully decorated in a Venitian style. The bar is also very warm and wonderfully designed. The service could have been slightly better as our server could have been more accountable to us but the food well made up for it. The food is definitely more central or northern Italian. I would say that the ingredients accentuate the food well and really bring out the dishes as opposed to overpowering them which is a sign of good ution. I will definitely come back for not only the food by the fabulous location and great food. Lastly, the place slightly borders on pretentiousness but goes just far enough to stop at the right point. I was a little humoured.

seated 1 hour after reservation
i must begin by saying the food was fabulous, but you probably could have fed our table anything because we were seated 1 hour after our reservation time. the owner came over to say she was sorry, yet still insisted there was no problem. after complaining a second time we were offered a free drink and 3 pieces of bruchetta. after complaining a 3rd time and wondering why we weren't seated at a table that had been open for 15 minutes the hostess informed us that table was next to a large party and we would receive poor service because the wait staff would be focusing on that table. the owner then told us we couldn't sit there becaue they were seating another party that was irrate because it was 1.5 hours past their reservation time. i will not be going back to spend such a large amount of money for pasta and to wait an enormous amount of time after my reservation time and to be made to feel like i am in the wrong for complaining.
