Excellent Puerto Rican food
The establishment has been on Fullerton for years and the facility has had some renovations done, although it's still very small. The food is excellent with great prices to match. Every dish and fritura are delicious and done as close to the authentic recipes as they can get. We don't usually dine in but when we do, the service is good and friendly...500% better than what you would get at Borinquen on California Ave.. Parking is a bit difficult to find, which is why we always carryout. Although this place is out of our way, since we live in Humboldt Park, the drive is worth it. The food never disappoints. The alcapurrias are the bomb. This restuarant also has a trailer in Humboldt Park (on the Kedzie side) in the summer and the food is great there as well. This is a very popular spot for the locals when it's open. The prices are also great. This is really the best Puerto Rican food you can find.
