    Poor phone service

I called the Taylor location to find out if they had the nutritional facts for their food. Looking to order for a large board meeting and this is something we look at when ordering. So as to have healthy options. Person who ansered the phone said " I have no idea and I have never seen the website so I could not tell you if they are online either". Really! If this is how a simple question is answered why would I order from you?

After 11 years, no more Pompei for me!

Today was the last straw: I am never ordering delivery from Pompei on Taylor again. Their phone people are rude and they have no customer service skills at all. Reviewer Howard is right: there are too many better places nearby & no reason to give your business to this place which has mediocre food & doesn't appreciate their customers.

    My favorite!

This grew out of the bakery. The sliced pizza out of the long pan was always great and the bonus was fast and cheap. Now they are a small chain. Still, they are delicious, fast, and cheap. They are my choice for large parties because I order the trays of pizza with all different types of pizza and the house salad has the best homemade Italian dressing, but the Caesar is better! For two years straight, my family and two others met at the Pompei on Sheffield every Friday for the kids, but it really was my pick.

    Bland food, high prices

This place is terrible. There are many better places within a couple blocks. Rosebud is a lot better for pasta. Conte di Savoia is better for sandwiches. And there are about 3 or 4 places better for pizza. Heck, I'd even go to the Sbarros for pizza before I'd go here. Over priced, looks like a theme park, and cafeteria style. Just terrible all the way around.

    Delicious

The italian chopped salad is to die for and the pizza is just delicious. Never a disappointment and very consistent.

    I really enjoyed this place!!!!!

The food was great. If you don't mind a small waiting time, then the food willbe worth it. The service was good and my party and I were very satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. The price was not bad at all.It was very reasonable and worth every penny!!!!

    Good, cheap eats

First thing, first: CALL IN YOUR ORDER AHEAD OF TIME! There is always a huge line no matter what time of day you come in. I have never stood in line here. I have mostly been impressed with the food at Pompei. Most of the portions are good, flavors tasty, and relatively compitent service. Specifically, I think the pizza is a great value. There are plenty of varieties and the single portion should fill you up, no problem. TIP: Ask for a side of their marinara sauce for dipping. Yummy!
