$25.00 a person we had appetizers, bruschetta (so good took an order home, Ceaser and the farfalle with chicken, and split a bottle of Chianti. Forget the fact the food was "amazing", and our server wonderful. With a price like this and the quality, I will not waste anymore money on average at best food downtown again.

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to visit Piazza Bella but my experience was way better than expected! The service was great, the ceasar salad was amazing and my friend and I shared a pasta and chicken dish that we couldn't get enough of. The kitchen even split the pasta for us to make it easy to share. I don't know what the other reviewers were complaining about, I would definitely visit Piazza Bella again and recommend it to friends!

I was underwhelmed by this place. The two pasta dishes we ordered were just so-so. The atmosphere is pretty nice, especially in the summer when the front windows are open.

We have tried to give this resturant a second chance since they changed owners. Twice now the guy answering the phone has been rude, uninformed and actually hung up on me. We live in the neighborhood and use to go twice a week. Now we are so sad that not only have we lost great food but also a great resturant. They should have bought the old recipes and kept the old staff. They won't make it long treating people poorly. Their tables are always empty and now we know why!

Stock pastas that you see on every other menu. Uninformed staff - I once ordered halibut and asked them to prepare it Vesuvio style instead of how it was offered and the woman gave me an incredulous look, not realizing that you can prepare not only chicken but other meats/fishes in that style. Speaking of Vesuvio, they have it with chickebn and it is not even off the bone like it should be but a breast. They do poorly in the carry out dpt. Finally, we live a block away and never eat there. If you like it, you probably like it for the ambience or don`t eat out often.

Our expectations were high after reading other reviews and selecting from the menu (which described dishes in accurate Italian). After 90 minutes of waiting we received a poorly chopped store- bought- dressing salad, soggy pizza with canned toppings and underseasoned overcooked inedible pasta. Not good.

I had a so-so experience at Piazza Bella. Even though their service is truly outstanding, the food is not. My soup was merely warm, not hot as it is supposed to be. At our table of four, everyone used additional salt and pepper for seasoning. Meats were just ok, but the mashed potatoes were very tasty. Perhaps, I should give Piazza Bella another chance, but so far I'm not impressed.
