Love this place-great food and and some really interesting waitstaff
I stopped in here one day randomly when on Argyle and this is my go to now-although I occasionally cheat with the banh mi place across the street. Great menu, I LOVE the noodle soups, this place is always and I mean ALWAYS busy but if a wait, not too long. And really interesting waitstaff. While I was recovering from a broken arm, I went there for lunch and had a really interesting conversation with an older (like myelf!) Vietnamese waiter about the war. One of the many reasons I love this restaurant.

Way overpriced.
Go to Pho 777 for a better and cheaper meal. Utterly overated.

Great Food, Filthy Restaurant
Tasty food that is as good as I have had. You can go with the recommendations from the waiter or explore the menu with safety. Men's room was dirty. The floor was littered with food from previous diners and was not swept. But good food.

Favorite so far
Tank was the 4th I've tried around Argyle. Pho Tai soup was equally great as the others. Small things like wooden chop sticks(rather than plastic) and large water glasses that were refilled quickly made it the best visit so far.

Great food, good prices.
I actually stumbled into this place a few years ago with a friend while searching for a Vietnamese restaurant. I'm so glad I did. This place has absolutely phenomenal food. Everyone I've ever taken here has loved it. The portions are huge (for real, the entree will stuff you and I recommend only getting an appetizer if you go in a group) and the food always tastes fresh. Their Chicken Curry soup is amazing, as is the Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and pork. However, my best tip is to order the vegetarian spring rolls: they're spicy and tasty and have a much better flavor than the non-vegetarian spring rolls (which are also quite good, btw.) Basically, come hungry. My only quibble is that it can get very loud, as the restaurant is mostly bare tables, linoleum, and non-tapestried walls. I wouldn't recommend this for a romantic date.

great deal/good food
we ordered from "tank noodle" for take out. We ordered the Pho Tai for 5.95. The serving is huge! We also order the spring rolls which were really fresh and delicious and the pancake, amazing and a huge serving for 8 dollars. One think not to miss is the mango bubble tea smoothie. I think the smoothie had about 4 fresh mangoes in it, a bargain for 3.50. Definitely give this place a try!
