Great food, good prices.
I actually stumbled into this place a few years ago with a friend while searching for a Vietnamese restaurant. I'm so glad I did. This place has absolutely phenomenal food. Everyone I've ever taken here has loved it. The portions are huge (for real, the entree will stuff you and I recommend only getting an appetizer if you go in a group) and the food always tastes fresh. Their Chicken Curry soup is amazing, as is the Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and pork. However, my best tip is to order the vegetarian spring rolls: they're spicy and tasty and have a much better flavor than the non-vegetarian spring rolls (which are also quite good, btw.) Basically, come hungry. My only quibble is that it can get very loud, as the restaurant is mostly bare tables, linoleum, and non-tapestried walls. I wouldn't recommend this for a romantic date.

great deal/good food
we ordered from "tank noodle" for take out. We ordered the Pho Tai for 5.95. The serving is huge! We also order the spring rolls which were really fresh and delicious and the pancake, amazing and a huge serving for 8 dollars. One think not to miss is the mango bubble tea smoothie. I think the smoothie had about 4 fresh mangoes in it, a bargain for 3.50. Definitely give this place a try!

Big, Busy, Terrific Vietnamese
I love this place. It's a large, bright room, full of hungry diners and bustling waitstaff. The Vietnamese cuisine is fresh, tangy, spicy and delicious. Although I'm not an expert, I get the feeling the food has not been overly "Americanized," and retains most of its Asian character. Servers, unlike those in many Argyle St. spots, are friendly, helpful and efficient. Most recently, I dined here with a party of six and left stuffed and happy for less than twenty dollars each. The pho, in most any style, is killer, as are the fresh spring rolls and the crispy rice pancake with shrimp and vegetables.
