Five Stars?
My family decided to take the inlaws downtown and to a show for their 50th anniversary. There were nine of us and we did have reservations. Service and setting was first class. However, the food left a lot to be desired for our $800 meal. We ordered everything from pasta to seafood. Nobody was impressed and several including myself were very dissappointed. We could have spent a lot less and gotten a much better meal. We will not be back.

Don't need to go to the theatre to enjoy
Although Petterino's works around the theatre crowd, you shouldn't miss out on this great dining experience just because you didn't get tickets to Wicked. My wife and I live in the South Loop and recently enjoyed a great dinner here on the weekend. I was shocked at how reasonable the price was for our appetizers, dinners, and drinks. The food was great, and the service was quick and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A Great Night out!
We recently ate at Petterino's in Chicago prior to attending the Theatre. It was a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding! The atmosphere is very quaint (could get alittle loud at times) but the overall surroundings made up for that. Service was fantastic as well. It was a Very Positive way to start a memorable evening. By the way....start off with The Goodman Martini.....they are to die for!!
